| AUGUST 2011 Hello Neighbors, Thank you for your consideration in joining our Neighborhood Watch Program & email distribution list. Signing up is simple. Please click on the "Join our Neighborhood Watch" tab, fill out the application and forward the information to us at: Blocktalk@pacbell.net. Your information is safe with us -- we do not share your email address or other personal information with others. Valencia Hills is a neighborhood where we take pride in our homes and we keep a watchful eye out to help insure that our homes, streets and paseos are a safe, family-friendly environment. Occasionally there are threats to our safety and/or well-being, whether it is from a wild animal (i.e. coyotes)...a burglar...aggressive door-to-door salespeople...or teenagers that are being knuckleheads and doing drugs in our paseos. We believe that by sharing information and keeping everyone informed we are better equipped at taking precautions against certain issues facing us at that time. Upon notification of an issue, we will send out an email to the neighborhood to alert them of the activity. The subject line on the email will read, "Neighborhood Watch", followed by the date, and any pertinent information, such as "lost dog", "alert", etc. Our HOA has contracted with a security company that patrols our area and they are available to Valencia Hills Homeowners at any time. If you observe some questionable activity, you can call the number below and share your concerns. They will respond by driving by to check out the situation. In many instances, they will be able to rectify the problem. Please be prepared when you call them to provide your name, address, and telephone number. Once they investigate a problem, they want to be able to follow-up with you to let you know the status. These are the folks to contact for general security issues.
